Before beginning
WRITE
operations,
confirm the
COM-
PARE/RECALL
key
is
ON.
*This display
indicates that
WRITE
operations are
com-
plete,
so
the
WRITE
key can be
released.
INTERNAL
D-5
will
appear on

LCD.

PROTECT
switch
on
the
back
panel
of
the
unit to
the
OFF
position.

Each
WRITE
operation
to
the
internal
bank
requires the
deletion
of
one
of
the
tones already
stored.
The
use
of
an
optional
RAM
cartridge
(RA-6)
makes
it
possible
to
save
the
64
tones
for
storage
until
they
are
needed,
thus
freeing the
internal
bank
for
the storage
of addi-
tional
data.
Necessary
tone data
can
later
be loaded
from a
RAM
cartridge
(or
ROM
cartridge)
into
the
in-
ternal
bank
of
the CZ-1.
