Place excess cable out of the way in the cable routing channel. CAUTION: Avoid bending fiber-optic cable beyond its minimum bend radius. An arc smaller than a few inches in diameter can damage the cable and cause problems that are difficult to diagnose. Locate power cords that have a plug appropriate for your geographical location. For more information, see the MX104 3D Universal Edge Router Hardware Guide. Attach an ESD grounding strap to your bare wrist and connect the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis. -

The battery return connection is to be treated as an isolated DC return (i.e. DC-I), as defined in GR-1089-CORE. For Juniper Networks systems with AC power supplies, an external surge protective device (SPD) must be used at the AC power source. -
