Note: Determine the left and right sides of the machine
from the normal operating position.
Lubricating the Edger
The edger cutter head has a grease fitting that must be
lubricated with #2 general-purpose, lithium-based grease
after every 100 hours of operation

Changing the Edger Blade
Check the edger blade frequently and replace the blade when
the blade width is reduced to 1-1/4 inches
1. Stop the machine, move the throttle control to the Slow
position and rotate the ignition key to Off, and remove
the key from the switch to prevent accidental starting.
2. Raise the edger to the transport position.
3. Remove the 4 screws and nuts that secure the blade to
the cutter arm
