6. OPERATION

1. Set the power switch to ON, to switch on the pocket transmitter. The display indicates the preset
transmission frequency and the battery icon for the battery capacity.
2. Press down the locking contacts and unlock the control part. Slide the control part upwards to access the
control elements.
3. Adjust the transmission frequency for the pocket transmitter ( section 6.1).
4. Set the receiver to the same radio frequency.
5. Speak into the microphone. The volume level can be adjusted by changing the sensitivity with the
adjusting key at the rear gain control. Reduce the sensitivity if the volume of the transmitter signal is too
high and thus distorted. Increase the sensitivity if the volume is too low and a poor S/N ratio results.
6. The pocket transmitter can be locked to prevent accidental change of frequency and accidental
shutdown ( section 6.3).
7. After operation set the power switch to OFF to switch off the transmitter. The display shortly indicates
and extinguishes.

6.1 Adjusting the transmission frequency

1. To call the frequency setting mode, keep the button SET pressed until the display indicates
.Then the display returns to the previous indication. The insertion MHz keeps flashing.

6.2 Multichannel operation

Up to 16 transmission systems on different frequencies can be used at the same time. In order to avoid
intermodulation interference, the radio frequencies should be carefully matched to each other. Always use
frequencies from the same group to achieve the best transmission quality.
