5. SETTING INTO OPERATION

5.1 Inserting batteries

1. For operation, the pocket transmitter requires two 1.5 V AA batteries. Unlock the control part and insert
the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment.
2. The capacity of the batteries is indicated on the display:
With new batteries, the transmitter can be operated for approx. 8 hours. If the battery icon on the display
starts flashing the batteries are going flat and the transmitter switches off automatically within a short
time.
3. If the transmitter is not used for a longer period (approx. 1-2 weeks), please remove the batteries to
prevent damage in case of battery leakage. Please refer to further explanations in chapter Safety
Instructions.
Only replace by the same type or similar types recommended by the manufacturer.
Remove empty battery in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer.
Batteries are hazardous waste and should not be disposed of with regular domestic waste!
Please take discharged batteries to a collection center near you.

5.2 Fastening the pocket transmitter and connecting a microphone

1. Attach the transmitter with the belt clip to your clothing or strap on your instrument. The position of the
clip can be modified to 90° or 180°.
2. Connect a matching microphone ( Accessories) to the 3-pin mini XLR jack NPUT. For connecting a
guitar with 6.3 mm jack the adapter cable AC-08 is available as accessory.
CAUTION!
Danger of explosion when battery is replaced improperly.
