SECTION 4 - OVERVIEW
First, ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. Place COSMIQ close to your smartphone.
With COSMIQ, navigate to Sync Mode using the MODE button. A countdown of 1 minute
and 30 seconds will begin on the screen.
For the Deepblu iOS app:
At the same time, access the Deepblu app and press Pair COSMIQ in the main menu. When
you're ready to pair, press Scan. Select your COSMIQ. A running rectangle will appear on
COSMIQ to show that the devices are pairing. When it is finished a checkmark will appear beside
the name of your COSMIQ, indicating that the pairing process is complete.
You only need to pair COSMIQ with your smartphone once. After it has been successfully paired
the first time, your phone will automatically establish a Bluetooth connection with COSMIQ when
you sync them in the future.
For the Deepblu Android app:
Access the Deepblu app and press COSMIQ in the main menu. When you're ready to pair,
press Scan. Press the Sync icon
in the top right hand corner. Select your COSMIQ. A running
rectangle will appear on COSMIQ to show the devices are pairing and the app screen will show
"Connecting COSMIQ." When the pairing process is complete, the COSMIQ Options menu will
appear with 3 options:
• New Logs: Create dive logs from scratch or using dive data from COSMIQ.
• Settings: Adjust the settings on your COSMIQ.
• Rename COSMIQ: Personalize your COSMIQ by giving it a name.
With the Android app, you need to pair COSMIQ with the app every time you want to sync to
change the settings.
