Specify Wi-Fi Settings From the Mobile Hotspot


To specify the Wi-Fi settings from the mobile hotspot:
1. To wake the device, press the Power button.
2. Tap the Home ( ) button.
The home screen displays.
3. Tap the Wi-Fi button.
4. Tap the Options button.
The Wi-Fi Options screen displays.
5. Tap the Wi-Fi Signal button.
The Wi-Fi Signal screen displays.
6. To turn the Wi-Fi signal on or off, tap the Wi-Fi Signal button.
A message displays to tell you that changing the Wi-Fi info will temporarily cause
connectivity loss.
7. Tap the OK button.
Your settings are saved.
8. To set the Wi-Fi range, do the following:
a. Tap the Wi-Fi button.
The Wi-Fi screen displays.
b. Tap the Options button.
The Wi-Fi Options screen displays.
c. Tap the Wi-Fi Range button.
The Wi-Fi Range screen displays.
d. Tap the Standard or Extended radio button.
