11 TUNING THE CHASSIS
–
Raise the motorcycle with the work stand.
–
Remove the main silencer.
–
Remove the shock absorber.

Adjust the spring preload by turning adjuster

Measure and note down the spring length in the preloaded state.

Loosen retaining ring

Turn the retaining ring and adjusting ring until the spring is fully relieved of tension.

Adjust the spring preload by turning adjusting ring
