Problem Encountered
Robomow does not
complete the edge
Operating lamp not flashing
when blades are in
operation.
LCD display is in a foreign
language.
Grass is not cut low enough
/ mulching is not good
enough
Poor quality of mowing
(grass clippings are left on
the lawn)
Probable Cause/Event
Obstacle along path
Peculiar geometry of perimeter
Faulty bulb.
The language setting was changed
or not correctly set.
If your Robomow was purchased in the
US or Canada, it is equipped with 'high
cut' blades.
Grass is too high
Grass is wet
Blades are worn
Corrective/User Action
Watch the full operation of edge and confirm
no obstacles are present
RL500 & RL550, start edge from the
opposite side of the lawn. Contact your
service provider if this does not correct the
situation.
On RL800 & RL850, perform 'Learn Edge'
function
Replace operating lamp bulb.
Remove the Manual Controller and
follow the sequence listed;
1. Press 'C' button
2. Press 'GO' button twice
3. Press 'Down' ⇓ arrow 3 times
4. Press 'GO' button once
5. Using the arrow, scroll to the
correct language
6. Press 'GO' to confirm this
selection
Replace blades to 'low cut'.
- It is recommended to cut not more than a
1/3 of the green part of the grass.
- Set the cutting height to a higher position
Use Robomow more frequently to maintain
your lawn
For best cut, operate Robomow when the
grass is dry. It is recommended to mow
grass early afternoon.
Replace blades.
