NOTE:
If your computer has a gray cable, connect it to the connector with the gray triangle, if one is available on your card.
 
6. Replace the Mini-Card/modem cover.

CAUTION:
Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety instructions in the Product Information Guide.
NOTICE:
To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such
as a connector on the back of the computer).
NOTICE:
To avoid damaging the system board, you must remove the battery before you begin working inside the computer.
 
1. Follow the procedures in
 
2. Remove the hinge cover:
a.  Open the display all the way (180 degrees) so that it lies flat against your work surface.
NOTICE:
To avoid damaging the hinge cover, do not lift the cover on both sides simultaneously. Do not use excessive force when removing the cover.
b.  Insert a scribe into the indent to lift the hinge cover on the right side.
c.  Ease the hinge cover up, moving from right to left, and remove it.

When replacing the hinge cover, first insert the left edge and then press from left to right until the cover snaps into place.
