Selecting the ISO sensitivity [ISO]

In the ISO setting, although smaller values
result in less sensitivity, sharp images can
be taken under fully lit conditions. Larger
values result in higher sensitivity, and
images can be taken at fast shutter speeds
even under dimly lit conditions.
High sensitivity introduces electrostatic
noise into the resulting picture, which may
give it a grainy appearance.

(FLASH OFF) and [ISO] is fi xed to [AUTO].
When set to [i], [IMAGE SIZE] is limited
to [I] or lower. Moreover, [FINE ZOOM]
(p. 30), [DIGITAL ZOOM] (p. 30), and [R]
(Still picture REC) (p. 31) are not available.
