Managing Messages

Messages you send and receive to the same contact, number
or address are grouped together as a "thread," so you can
see all the messages you exchanged with a recipient in one
place, like a conversation.
1. From the Home screen, tap
2. Message threads display by contact, number, or
address.
3. Tap and hold a thread to choose options, including:
• Delete: Erase the entire message thread.
• View Contact / Add to Contacts: View the contact record, or
save the sender/recipient's information to your Contact list.
• Add to spam numbers: Adds the sender/recipient's number to
your Spam numbers list.

4. Tap
Menu for options, including:
• Search: Enter characters to search messages and recipients.
• Delete threads: Tap message threads to mark them for
erasure, or tap Select all to mark all message threads.
• Draft messages: View messages you've created but not yet
sent.
• Locked messages: View messages you've locked. Locked
messages cannot be deleted.
• Scheduled messages: displays the scheduled messages
folder and its contents.
• Spam messages: displays the spam messages folder and its
contents.
• Text templates: displays available text message reply
templates.
• Font size: Select an option from the Font size pop-up.
• Settings: Configure Messaging settings. (For more information,
refer to "Messaging Settings" on page 73.)
