Bluetooth tethering
Before starting, pair your computer with your phone, and
then configure your computer to obtain its network
connection via Bluetooth.
Important! Tethering consumes battery power and increases
your data usage. Roaming while using tethering
will incur extra data charges.
1. From the Home screen, tap
Connections tab
and portable hotspot.
2. Tap Bluetooth tethering to enable or disable tethering. A
message pops-up indicating that your phone's
Bluetooth visability has been turned off.
3. Connect the other device to your phone using
Bluetooth. (For more information, refer to "Pairing and
connecting with a Bluetooth Device" on page 111.)

NFC and Beaming

Use NFC (Near Field Communication) to share information
between your device and another NFC device by beaming,
typically by touching the devices together back-to-back.
Your device uses NFC for the S Beam feature. NFC must be
turned on to use S Beam.
1. From the Home screen, tap
Connections tab.
2. Under
Connect and share, tap the NFC slider
turn NFC ON.
Note: NFC must be turned on to use Android Beam or
S Beam.
