Ringtones and keypad tones

Choose tones and/or vibration to play for incoming calls and
keypad touches.
1. From the Home screen, tap

Call Settings
tones.
3. Configure settings:
• Ringtones: Choose a default ringtone for incoming calls.
• Vibrations: Choose a vibration pattern, or create your own
pattern, to play for incoming calls when Incoming call vibration
is turned On. Vibration plays along with the ringtone, if Silent
mode is not enabled.
• Vibrate when ringing When enabled, the Device vibration
plays for incoming calls.
• Dialing keypad tone: When turned on, sounds play when you
tap the Phone keypad.

Personalize call sound

This option allows you to personalize the sound
characteristics you hear during a call, with or without
earphones.
1. From the Home screen, tap

3. Select one of the following options:
• Adapt Sound: Lets you guide your device in adapting call
sound characteristics to your ears, individually.
• Soft sound: Reduces the volume of the higher audio
frequencies.
• Clear sound: Boosts the volume of the higher audio
frequencies.
• Off: Call sound is delivered to both of your ears unchanged.
4. Tap Noise reduction to suppress background noise from
your side during calls. (For more information, refer to
"Dynamic Noise Suppression from Audience" on cover
page 7.)
5. Tap Increase volume in pocket to increase the ringtone
volume when the device is inside a pocket or bag.
