Section 3 - Configuration
The DDNS feature allows you to host a server (Web, FTP, Game Server, etc...) using a domain name that you have
purchased (www.whateveryournameis.com) with your dynamically assigned IP address. Most broadband Internet
Service Providers assign dynamic (changing) IP addresses. Using a DDNS service provider, your friends can enter
your domain name to connect to your server (IP address does not matter).

DDNS

Select Enable or Disable.
Server
Select a DDNS Server from the combo box on the
Address
right hand-side, or alternatively type in the server
address manually.
Host Name
Enter your fully qualified Host Name in this
field.
Username or
Enter the username or key provided by your
Key
service provider. If the Dynamic DNS provider
supplies only a key, enter that key in three
fields.
Password or
Enter your DDNS password or key.
Key
Verify
Re-type the password or key provided by your
Password or
service provider. If the Dynamic DNS provider
Key
supplies only a key, enter that key in the three
fields.
Status
Displays your DDNS status.
