Do not leave the soothers in disinfectant ('sterilising solution') for
longer than recommended, as this may weaken the teat.

Do not drop the thermometers or expose them to shocks.

Do not bend or disassemble the measurement unit of the
soother thermometer or the tip of the flexible-tip thermometer

Do not use the thermometer if the display shows the battery symbol.
This means that the battery is low and the measurements will be
inaccurate.

Only use these thermometers to measure human body
temperatures.

Never dip the teats in sweet substances or medication, your child
may get tooth decay.

In the event that either soother becomes lodged in the mouth, DO
NOT PANIC. The soothers cannot be swallowed and are designed to
cope with such an event. Remove from the mouth with care, as
gently as possible.

When not in use, store the soother, the soother thermometer and
the flexible-tip thermometer in the storage box supplied.

Do not use this Philips AVENT soother thermometer in combination
with parts of the old Philips soother thermometer (SCH530).
Electromagnetic fields (EMF)
These Philips AVENT thermometers comply with all standards regarding
electromagnetic fields (EMF). If handled properly and according to the
instructions in this user manual, the thermometers are safe to use based
on scientific evidence available today.
