Message Search
You can search through your messages by using the Message
Search feature.
From any screen, tap Messaging

Messaging Settings
To configure the settings for text messages, multimedia
messages, Voice mails, and Push messages.
From any screen, tap Messaging

The following Messaging settings are available:

• Message font size: allows you to set the size of your message
text to TIny, Small, Normal, Large, or Huge.
• Split view: allows you to enable split view when you have the
phone in landscape orientation.
• Delete old messages: deletes old messages when the limit is
reached, rather than causing an error message.

• Text message limit: allows you to set a limit on how many text
messages are allowed in one conversation.
• Multimedia message limit: allows you to set a limit on how many
multimedia messages are allowed in one conversation.
• Delivery reports: allows you to request a delivery report for each
message sent.
• Manage SIM card messages: allows you to manage the
messages that you have stored on your SIM card.
• Message Centre: allows you to enter the number of your
message center where your messages reside while the system is
attempting to deliver them.
• Input mode: allows you to set the input mode for your text
messages. Choose between GSM Alphabet, Unicode, or
Automatic.
• Delivery reports: allows you to request a delivery report for each
message sent.
• Read reports: allows you to request a read report for each message
sent.
• Auto-retrieve: allows the message system to retrieve messages
automatically.
• Roaming auto-retrieve: allows the message system to retrieve
messages automatically while you are roaming.
• Creation mode: allows you to select the MMS message creation
mode: Restricted, Warning or Free.
