Activating Wi-Fi Direct
Wi-Fi Direct allows device-to-device connections so you can
transfer large amounts of data over a Wi-Fi connection.
From the Home screen, tap

Wi-Fi Direct.
Tap the OFF / ON slider to turn Wi-Fi Direct on

Mobile networks

Before you use applications such as Google Maps and find your
location or search for places of interest, you must enable data
access over mobile networks.
Use Packet Data
To activate the data network, this option must be selected. It is set
on by default.
From the Home screen, tap

Data Roaming
Data roaming allows you to connect to your service provider's
partner networks and access data services when you are out of
your service provider's area of coverage.

point displays a green, filled circle to the right of the name.
Tap an access point name to view or edit the details

Network Mode
Select the types of network connections permitted for your phone.
From the Home screen, tap

Tap Network mode then tap to select a connection type

GSM/HSPA/LTE (Auto mode), GSM/HSPA (Auto mode),
GSM only, or HSPA only).
