For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• "1010 Battery" on page 65
• "1020 Bottom cover" on page 66
• "1030 Storage drive" on page 66
• "1060 Keyboard" on page 73
• "1080 Wireless LAN card" on page 78
• "1090 Wireless WAN card " on page 79
• "1100 Keyboard bezel assembly" on page 81
• "1120 Hinge caps" on page 86
• "1130 LCD unit" on page 87
• "1140 Chassis assembly " on page 89
• "1170 Thermal fan assembly" on page 93
• "1180 System board" on page 94
Applying labels to the base cover:
The new base cover FRU is shipped with a kit containing labels of several kinds. Apply those labels when
you replace the base cover. For the labels that are not shipped with the new base cover, peel them from the
old base cover, and adhere them to the new one.
The following illustration shows the location of each label.
