    Warnings Before using this appliance, read and follow all warnings and instructions in this manual, even if you are familiar with this product. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

    It is highly recommended to disconnect the plug from wall socket and let cool before changing the Microfibre cleaning pad. This appliance must be earthed. The use of an Earth Leakage Safety Switch is highly recommended. Refer to your electrician for further information. This product can be used for cleaning floor surfaces such as sealed wooden floors, ceramic tiles, granite and marble flooring, including some types of carpet.

    Assembly A small amount of assembly is required when you receive your steam mop. • First, remove all the components from the packaging. • Connect the handle by placing it over the top of the telescopic tube (upper end) and then slide down until it clips into place. You may need to push the spring pin (on the telescopic tube) inward a little to allow the handle to slide over.

    • To adjust the length of the Telescopic Tube, press the Extension Lock downward. Whilst holding the lock down, move the upper section of the tube up or down to your desired length then release the Lock Button. Move the upper section of tube again until it “clicks” securely in to place. Ref fig 1-D •...

    Operation Note: Ensure the Microfibre Pad is fitted before use. Adding Water • Make sure the ON/OFF Switch is set to the “off’ position (Red Power Indicator Light will not be illuminated) and ensure the power cord is unplugged from the wall socket. •...

    8.2 Refilling If the unit has been in use, always take the following safety precaution before removing the Water Tank / Boiler cap and adding any water: • Allow the unit to cool for 5 -10 minutes. This will reduce heat and pressure inside the Water Tank / Boiler, helping to prevent escaping steam when the Water Tank / Boiler Cap is removed as well as vaporisation when more water is added.
  • Page 10 7. For best results, mop using a steady back-and-forth motion over the floor, working your way backwards in order to avoid walking over the freshly mopped area. IMPORTANT: To avoid warping or damage caused by heat and moisture, do not use on unsealed hardwood or unglazed ceramic surfaces. Steam may remove the sheen from some floors that have been treated with wax.

    Recommended Floor Surfaces This product can be used for cleaning floor surfaces such as sealed wooden floors, ceramic tiles, granite and marble flooring, including some types of carpet. If you are unsure, test a section of the flooring material in an out-of-sight area first.

    If the pad is dirty you may wash it, Refer to section “Maintenance” for cleaning instructions. 4. Unscrew and remove the Water Tank / Boiler Cap. Drain any water remaining in Water Tank / Boiler into a sink or tub, to minimise potential mineral build-up and prevent overfilling during next use.

    2. Place the Mop Head on top of the Resting pad, and allow the unit to cool for at least 30 minutes for complete cooling. 3. For convenience it is recommended to disconnect the Telescopic Tube, and if attached, remove the Microfibre Pad from the Mop Head. Removing these during the cleaning process will make cleaning easier.

    11.3 Cleaning the Steam Mop Do not clean the Steam Mop, components or accessories with petrol or any other flammable liquids, solvents, etc. Use only a moist cloth and mild detergent for cleaning the outside of the Steam Mop. After cleaning, wipe off the moisture with a dry cloth. Do Not place in water or liquid to clean.
