Generality
This videophone consists of an interior unit with black & white display screen, a free hand interphone, and a build-in
exterior outdoor station which makes it possible to see and speak to the visitor who as rung. To make the most of
the videophone, please take the time to read this instruction manual thoroughly, and do not lose it.
3. COMPONENTS
a. Monitor
(fig 2a)
1. Black & White display screen (10cm)
2. Microphone for communication with the outdoor station.
3. Key for surveillance or resuming image
4. Strike or electric lock control: press this key to open the strike.
5. Control for automatic gate opening mechanism: press this key to open the automatic gate opening mechanism.
6. Key to communicate with the roadside panel after a call
7. Loudspeaker for the ringer and communication.
8. Volume regulator and ringer cut-off.
9. Setting the sound volume of the speaker
10. Screen brightness regulator.
11. Screen contrast regulator
12. Connection to camera
13. Connector by the 17 V
plug of the adapter (adapter to connect to an installation compliant with standards
in force: NFC 15 100 in France
b. Outdoor station, exterior camera
(fig 2b)
1. Microphone: allows the visitor to communicate with the interior.
2. C-MOS black & white camera lens with an automatic iris.
3. Infrared LEDs* for low-light conditions; for use at night, install a lighting system. (*invisible to the naked eye)
4. Call button: activates the ringer inside and turns on the camera and the monitor.
5. Loudspeaker: so that you can be heard outside.
4. INSTALLING
a. Installing of outdoor station, exterior camera
(fig 3)
1. Remove the two screw covers (2) using a small screwdriver lodged in the notch (3) . Remove the two (4) screws.
2. Insert the plastic casing (1) taking care not to obstruct the plate fixation holes.
3. Connect the cable as shown in the wiring diagram with the waterproof gasket (6) in place.
4. Screw the plate onto the inserted casing using the two screws (4) .
5. Put the two screw covers back.
Make sure that the camera lens is not pointing directly at the sun or at a reflective surface.
