Unpacking
The sapphire III amplifier has been completely tested and inspected before leaving the factory. Unpack
your amplifier and carefully inspect for any damage that may have occurred during transit before open it.
If damage is found, notify the shipping company immediately.
We also recommend that you save all packing materials for use if you ever need to transport the unit.
Never ship the unit without the factory carton and packing materials.
The package contains the following:
● 1 x Sapphire III amplifier.
● 2 x Rack ears (w/ six screws).
● 1 x AC mains power cord.
● 1 x Manual.
● 1 x Warranty card.
WARNING:
Before you start to set up your
amplifier, read and observe the Important
Safety Instructions found at the beginning
of this manual.
Install the amplifier
CAUTION:
Before you begin, make
sure your amplifier is disconnected
from the power source and that all
level controls are set to -∞ position.
For installation, you will need (not supplied):
● Input wiring cables.
● Output wiring cables.
● Flathead screwdriver.
● Phillips screwdriver.
● Rack for mounting amplifier (or a stable surface for stacking).
● Cat-5 cabling.
Sapphire III amplifier is 1.75 in. (44.5mm) high, 19 in. (483 mm) wide and 11.85 in. (301 mm) deep.
Mount the unit in a standard 19-inch (483 mm) equipment rack. You can also place a single amp on a solid,
stable surface or stack multiple amps.
NOTE:
Amplifiers should be supported at both the front and rear of the rack.
