Congratulations on your purchase of a Sapphire III power amplifier with groundbreaking SSA technology.
The Sapphire Series with SSA technology is designed for years of reliable, flawless operation under rigorous
use. The implementation of advanced SSA technology dramatically reduces weight while increasing
output power, reliability, thermal efficiency and superior fidelity.
What makes SSA technology so advanced? The most recent evolution in audio amplification was the
invention of the Class-D topology. With the application of Class-D, amplifiers became smaller, louder and
more efficient. However, no one really improved fidelity--not until now. The first ever single-stage inverter
was born and its technology was patented in USA and worldwide. This single-stage inversion has
revolutionized the power inversion industry. Named as Class-SSA (Single Stage Switching Class A)
technology, this new topology delivers higher efficiency than Class-D and better audio fidelity
performance than all other amplifier topologies. SSA technology allows the amplifier to operate at very
