    In Bridge Mode, Sapphire III Base is used as a two-channel power amplifier which doubles the power output. Bridge Mode can be switched from a hardware switch located at the rear panel of the power amplifier. Sapphire III Base will follow the switch settings when starting up.

    4 Channels DSP Power Amplifier -∞ -∞ -∞ -∞ Sapphire III Base -∞ Rack Ears: Secure the unit into a rack with four screws. Signal & Limit LED: LED lights in blue indicates input signal is received. Reduce the input gain is the red LIMIT LED flashing. The red LIMIT LED constantly light indicates an overloaded input gain, overheating protection, overload protection or speaker failure.

    Rear Panel Sapphire III Sapphire III Base Power switch: Use this power switch to turn the unit on or off. Power Cord Socket: Here is where you connect the detachable power cord included with your amplifier. Plug the other end of the power cord into an AC outlet properly configured with the voltage required for your particular model.

    Installations Unpacking Sapphire III (Base) has completed all the QC tests before leaving factory. Please open the packing carefully and check if there is any damage caused during transportation process. If any, please contact the carrier immediately. We strongly recommend you to keep the packing materials in case of potential transportation. In order to avoid damages, please do not use other alterative packing materials to transport the apparatus.

    3. Connect speakers with the output end of the power amplifier. 4. Connect the power amplifier to a PC or network switch with Cat-5 shielded twisted pair. The Sapphire III (Base) User Interface on the PC can control the amplifier remotely. For further information, please refer to (Sapphire III (Base) User Interface introductions).

    Make sure that the power amplifier is powered off before making any input or output connections. Please use high quality audio cables which can minimize loss of signal integrity.     Sapphire III Base User Interface Introductions The following interface has been designed for the Sapphire III Base amplifier. This is only a brief introduction of the software that related to connections of the power amplifier. For further information, please refer to introduction of the software.

The control panel of Master Gain is shown on the right: Gain can be controlled by sliding the button or by inputting a value in the gray box in a range of -80 ~ 0 dB.

    This chapter is about the configuration of a set of power amplifiers using the Dante™ network. Not only independent connections can be set up, but also multiple power amplifiers can be connected as “Daisy Chain”. Sapphire III (Base) connects to the network hardware devices using Cat-5 cable. Sapphire III (Base) implements 4-in, 4-out audio signals, Digital Signal Processing and other configuration.

Analog signals are sourced from a mixer or other audio source through the XLR inputs, while digital signals are input from a PC/Network switch through Ethernet port (ETH1/ETH2).
