*Spillage of marinades, fruit juices, tomato sauces and basting materials containing acids may cause discoloration and should be wiped up immediately
(blotted up if in Continuous-Cleaning Oven). Take care not to touch hot portion of oven. When surface is cool, clean and rinse.

Drain fat and cool pan and rack slightly. (Do not let soiled pan and rack stand in oven to
cool. ) Sprinkle on detergent. Fill the pan with win-m water and spread a damp cloth or paper
towel over the rack. Let pan and rack stand for a few minutes. Wash; scour it' necessary. Rinse
and dry OPTION: The broiler pan and rack may also be cleaned in a dishwasher.
Pull off knobs. Wash gently, but do not soak. Dry and return control knobs to range.
Wash all glass with cloth dampened in soapy water. Rinse and polish with it dry cloth, It'
knobs are removed, do not allow water to run down inside npenings in the glass wbile cleaning.

abrasives, ammonia, acids or
commercial oven cleaners.

Remove oven door (see above). DO NOT place door under running water, or immerse. Use
same directions for cleaning as for Oven Liner, below.
Your shelves can be cleaned by using any and all mentioned materials. Rinse thoroughly
to remove all materials after cleaning. NOTE: Some commercial oven cleaners cause
darkening and discoloration. When using for first time, test cleaner on small part of shelf and
check for discoloration before completely cleaning.
Lift out when cool. Soak 5 to 10 minutes, if desired, in solution of warm water and mild
liquid detergent. Scour with materials mentioned to remove burned-on food particles.

The oven bottom panel can be removed for cleaning (see page 17). Use same directions for
cleaning as for Oven Liner below.
FOR LIGHT SOIL: Frequent wiping with mild soap and water (especially after cooking
meat) will prolong the time between major cleaning. Rinse thoroughly. NOTE: Soap left on
liner causes additional stains when oven is reheated.
FOR HEAVY SOIL: Choose a non-abrasive oven cleaner and follow label instructions, using
thin layer of cleaner. Use of rubber gloves is recommended. Wipe or rub lightly on stubborn
spots. Rinse well. Wipe off any oven cleaner that gets on thermostat bulb. When rinsing oven
after cleaning, also wipe thermostat bulb.

If acids sbould spill on the range while it is hot, use a dry
paper towel or cloth to wipe tbem up right away. When the
surface has cooled, wash and rinse. For other spills, such as
fat smatterings, etc., wash with soap and water wben they
have cooled and then rinse. Polish witb dry cloth.
To remove oven door for easier cleaning: open to BROIL
position, grasp door by sides, and lift up and away from
hinges. Use soap and water to thoroughly clean both the
inside and outside of door. Rinse well. To replace: grasp
door by sides, lineup door with hinges, and push firmly

burners from range (see page 19) and soak them for 20 to 30
minutes in solution of mild liquid detergent and water. If
soil does not rinse off completely, scrub burners with soap
and water and a brush or plastic pad. If tbc holes become
clogged, clean them witb a toothpick. Before putting the
burners back, shake out excess water and tben dry burners
thoroughly in a warm oven for 30 minutes.
