6.Main clutch lever cleaning

If the lock lever and main clutch lever do not operate smoothly, or the
clutch engages by squeezing the main clutch lever without pushing the
lock lever, then clean the main clutch lever.
1.Remove any dirt or foreign objects.
Wipe off and clean the fulcrum of the main clutch lever and lock
lever.
NOTE:
Do not apply any oil or cleaner liquid to the main clutch lever and lock
lever.
Oil or cleaner liquid will attract dirt and foreign objects.

2.Check the lock lever and main clutch lever for smooth operation.
If the lock lever and main clutch lever do not operate smoothly, or the
clutch engages by squeezing the main clutch lever without
pushing the lock lever, take the tiller to an authorized Honda dealer.
