I BASIC OPERATION I FONCTIONNEMENT DE BASE
I POUR LIRE UN DISQUE COMPACT I
I TO PLAY A COMPACT DISC I
1. Press the ST ANDBY ION switch to turn the power
on.
2. Insert a magazine. pushing it in until a click sound
is heard.
.Insert the discs to be played into the magazine beforehand.
(Refer to " BEFORE OPERA TING THE PLA VER" on page 7.}
.In standby mode, inserting a magazine automatically turns on
the power.
3. Press the .-/11 button to start playback.
Ta pause playback tempararily:
Press the ~/II button during playback. The" indicator lights
and playback ispaused at that point. Pressing the ~/II button
again or ~ btton resumes playback from the position where
pause mode was entered.
Pour arrêt er la lecture;
Appuyer sur la touche ..Le lecteur revient au début de la
prémière plage musicale où la lecture a été arrêtée. Si on
appuie deux fois sur la touche ., le lecteur revient au début
de la première plage musicale du premier disque, puis passe
en mode d'arrêt.
NOTE:
When the power is turned off while a magazine is in the player,
the player memorizes which disc was played just before the
power was turned off. Thus, when the power is next turned
on, pressing the ..III button starts playback from the first
track on the memorized disc.
REMARQUE:
Au moment où l'on met le lecteur hors tension alors qu'il
contient un chargeur, le lecteur mémorise le numéro du
disque qui était en cours de lecture. De la sorte, lorsque le
lecteur est remis sous tension etque l'on appuiesurla touche
de lecture, la lecture commence par la première plage musicale
du disque dont le numéro est en mémoire.
To stop playback and take out the magazine:
Press the EJECT button (~) .remove the magazine. and then
press the STANDBV/ON switch to turn off the power.
Even when the power is turned off (in standby mode}. the
magazine will be ejected by pressing the EJECT button.
Pour arrêter la lecture et retirer le magasin chargeur :
Appuyer sur la touche EJECT (~) , retirer le magasin chargeur,
puis appuyer sur l'interrupteur ST ANDBY ION pour couper
l'alimentation. Même lorsque l'alimentation est coupée (dans
le mode d'attente), le magasin est éjecté par une pression sur
la touche EJECT.

remote control unit.
