OPERATING THE SELF-CLEANING OVEN

How to Set the Ovenfor Cleaning
Quick Reminder:
1. Turn the OVEN SET and the OVEN TEMP
knobs to CLEAN.
2. Latch the door.
3. Set the automatic oven timers.

1. Turnthe OVEN SET and OVEN TEMP knobs to
CLEAN. The controlswill snap into final position
when the CLEAN locationis reached.

3. Set the automatic oven timer:
Make sure both the clock and the START dial
show the correct time of day. When the START
knob is pushed in and turned, it will "pop" into
place when the time shown on the clock is reached.
You can set the Clean
Time to any time between
2 and 4 hours, depending on the amount of soil in
your oven.
Add the desired number of hours to the present
time of day, then push in and turn the STOP dial
clockwise to this desired stop time.
The CLEANING light glows, indicating cleaning
has started. This light cycles on and off with the
oven heating elements after the oven reaches
cleaning temperature.
The oven door and window get hot during self-
cleaning.DO NOT TOUCH.
4. After cleaning is complete, turn the OVEN SET
knob to OFF.
5. When the oven has
fallen below the locking
temperature, slide the
latch handle to the left

open the door. If you
cannot slide the latch.

for cooling.
Never force the latch handle. The latch slides
easily. Forcing the latch handle may damage the
door lock.
To Stop a Clean Cycle
After a Clean Cycle
1. Turn the OVEN SET knob or the OVEN TEMP
You may notice some white ash in the oven. Just
