Replacing the PCI adapter card

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the "Read
this first: Important safety information" on page iii.
To replace the PCI adapter card, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 52.
3. Remove the PCI card. See "Replacing the PCI card" on page 68.
4. Locate the PCI adapter card. The PCI adapter card is installed in the M.2 card slot on the system
board. See "Parts on the system board" on page 5.
5. Remove the three screws that secure the PCI adapter card to the system board. Then, slide the adapter
card as shown to remove it from the system board.
