Choosing a Location You can set up the printer three ways: set it flat on any level surface, mount it vertically on any level surface, or mount it on a wall. Either way, be sure to leave room to open the cover and access the cables. To mount the printer vertically: OPEN 1.50 in.

Printer Controls LED (Green) Paper Feed Button Reset Button Testing the Printer Run this test to check the printer. The test prints a list of various printer settings. The test printout may vary depending on the printer model. To change the default settings, enter the configuration menu. The printout may be useful to a service representative if there is a problem.
Configuring the Printer If you need to select certain functions, or change settings, use the scrolling menu feature. This feature prints instructions on the receipt for selecting and changing any of the functions and parameters, including A793 and APOS emulations. Caution: Be extremely careful changing any of the printer settings to avoid changing other settings that might affect the performance of the printer.
