Perform the following maintenancesteps:

Empty the dirt container whenthe dirtreaches
the"Full"lineonthe container, or morefrequently
to prevent o verfills. Forbestperformance, empty
aftereachuse.

Check the pre-motor filter andpost-motor f ilter
at leastoncea month,cleanor replace
asneeded.
NOTE: B esureto cleanor replaceyour
filtersanytimethe cleanfilterindicator
(selectmodels only)beginsto turnred.

Replacethe post-motorfilter everythree
to six months.
NOTE: M orefrequentfiltercleaningmaybe
necessary if youare vacuuming newcarpet,
fine dust,or haveallergyconcerns. F ollow

Thedirt containerneedsto beemptiedwhenthe
dirt reachesthe "Full" lineon the container.

Unplugthe vacuum from electricaloutlet
2.
Slidethe Lock 'n Seal Leverto the "Unlock"
position.
3.
Grasphandleand pull the dirt container
straightout to removefrom the vacuum.
4.
Emptydirt into garbagecontainer.
NOTE: E mptying the dirt container after
everyusewill helpprevent o verfilling and
ensurethatthe vacuumis readyto go the
nexttimeyouclean.
