M O U N T I N G T H E B A T T E R Y
Although the lead-acid battery pack can be mounted in
various places on your bike, it is designed to be mounted
under the top tube.
1. Mount the battery pack under
the top tube, placing the two
wide Velcro straps over the top
tube but under any shift or
brake cables.
2. To prevent the bag from
swinging, the thin Velcro strap
can be tightened around the
head tube, seat tube, or down
tube depending on the
geometry of your bike.
3. Secure the battery cable to the
frame with the additional Velcro
cable ties, making sure the
cable will not interfere with any
moving parts.
O P E R A T I O N
1. Connect the battery cable to the headlamp cable.
2. To turn the lamp on and off, simply press and release the
headlamp power button.
Warning: To protect the battery from over-discharging, turn
off the lamp before it reaches complete darkness.
Warning: NiteRider discourages operating the light in
stationary conditions because the excessive heat generated
can damage the headlamp.
