To avoid annoying noise, turn the ‘VOLUME’ (15) control down before plugging headphones in or out. 2 [LOW] Control to attenuate or increase the low frequencies in the 4-band EQ. 3 [EQUALIZER ON/OFF] To turn the 4-band EQ on or off.

The indicator lights up when the compressor responds.
