    Making coffee Hot surfaces – some parts of this machine will become hot enough to cause burns, in particular the boiler and group head casings. The steam wand and boiler lid can also become too hot to touch. As well, if the machine is left on for extended periods (not recommended), the base can become uncomfortably hot.
