Care of the weather phone
* Do not clean any part of your weather phone with benzene, thinner or other sol-
vent chemicals - this may cause permanent damage that is not covered by the
guarantee. When necessary, clean it with a damp cloth.
* Keep your weather phone away from hot, humid conditions or strong sunlight.
* Every effort has been made to ensure the highest standards of reliability for your
weather phone. However, if something does go wrong, please do not try to repair
it yourself- consult your supplier.
* Do not use your weather phone outdoors in the rain, or handle it with wet hands-
water can damage electrical equipment.
Unpacking your weather phone
When you unpack your weather phone, make sure you keep all the packing mate-
rials in a safe place, in case you later need to transport it or return it for servicing.
In the box, you will find:
* The weather phone cordless handset
* Two rechargeable batteries for the handset
* The weather phone base unit
* A power lead with AC adapter
* A telephone line cable
* A Remote Thermo-hygro Sensor
The sensor display
A. Two-line LCD
Displays the current temperature and
humidity monitored by the remote unit:
- Temperature display
- Humidity display
- Comfort-level indicator
B. LED indicator
Flashes when the remote unit transmits a
reading.
