5. Turn the charger on at the mains power point. The bottom POWER indicator on
the charger will come on.
6. The 100% Battery Full light on the charger will come on when the chair is fully
charged. It is OK to leave the charger connected to the chair it will not
overcharge.
The following advice is recommended to help care for your batteries:
Keep your batteries fully charged and avoid deeply discharging your batteries.
The wheelchair will require charging for 8 to 10 hours for a full charge. Charging
the batteries for short periods will shorten the life of the batteries.
Do not charge the batteries for more than 24 hours at a charging cycle if possible.
Batteries MUST BE charged overnight EVERY NIGHT.
WARNING! Always protect the batteries from freezing and never
charge a frozen battery. Doing so can result in personal injury and
damage to the battery
STOP! Do not put the charger on the seat of the wheelchair when
charging as the charger can become quite warm. Always put the
charger on the floor near the chair when in use.

Battery Disposal and Recycling
If you encounter a damaged or cracked battery, immediately enclose it in a plastic
bag and contact your Magic Mobility Dealer for instructions on disposal. Your Magic
Mobility Dealer will also have all the necessary information on battery recycling,
which is our recommended course of action.
