  • Page 3 The Department of Transportation has not approved any tie-down systems with specific wheelchairs for transportation of a user while in a wheelchair, in a moving vehicle of any type. It is Magic Mobility’s position that wheelchair users are NEVER transported in vehicles of any kind while in wheelchairs.

    Features and Options Every individual has different requirements and at Magic Mobility we pride ourselves on being able to meet the needs of most people. Many aspects of the wheelchair are customisable including, but not limited to seats, armrests, headrests and leg rests. Please contact your Magic Mobility Dealer to discuss any additional requirements, including advice on how to operate these features.
  • Page 6 Outdoor Use Tilt-In-Space wheelchairs may be slightly more difficult to use than a standard transport chair especially when climbing obstacles due to their extended wheelbase. It is important to follow the correct procedure to ensure the greatest ease of operation and reduce the possibility of damage to the wheelchair. To climb a kerb or obstacle it is advantageous to have the chair slightly tilted then place both hands on the wheelchair push handle(s).
  • Page 7 In the case of a fault, the light will flash a sequence. To re-set, switch off, wait a few seconds and switch on again. If the fault has not cleared, contact your local dealer or Magic Mobility. 6.1.2 Preset Speed Control The preset speed control (3) controls the maximum speed of the power assist unit.
  • Page 8 Correct Use of the Power Assist Unit Turn the key to on, apply gentle pressure on the speed control lever and the wheelchair will move in a forwards. Increase the pressure on the lever to move faster. Release the lever to bring the wheelchair to a halt.

    (see section 7, Servicing). STOP! Do not use parts and accessories other than those authorised by Magic Mobility. This may void your warranty and cause damage to your wheelchair.

    Head Office can help you find your nearest Dealer (see section 9). Do not modify, or have your wheelchair modified in any way not authorised by Magic Mobility. Unauthorised changes constitute remanufacturing of the wheelchair. The person or group who make the changes will have full liability of the wheelchair under the Therapeutic Goods Act (TGA).
