Depending which Version (RTR or ARTR) you need different accessories:
90190.RTR:
everything is included, you only need 8 alkaline AA batteries e.g. No. 3426, or 8 AA battery
cells e.g. No. 3621 for transmitter and a 7,2 V Battery Pack (e.g. No. 98900) and a appropriate charger
like the Graupner Ultramat Series.
90190:
additionally you need a 2-channel radio system with one Servo (e.g. No. 94000 or 94010), elec-
tronic brushless Speedcontrol (e.g. Genius Race 80R No. 7157 or Genius 90 No. 7164), 7,2 V Battery
Pack (e.g. No. 98900) and a appropriate charger like the Graupner Ultramat Series.

THE REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM

Here you get an overview of the remote control system of the MRX5 Cross Rider and its various functions
and settings. Before the fi rst trip you should be sure all of these functions and settings have read and under-
stood.
Please consider also the references on page 35!
First screw the enclosed transmitter antenna into the mounting plate at the top of the transmitter. Place 8 AA
batteries in the battery compartment of the transmitter and a fully charged receiver-pack in the battery box.
Pay attention to the polarity!
REMOTE CONTROL (TRANSMITTER)
1.
On / off switch: Turns the power on/off
2.
Steering wheel: Controls direction (left/right) of the model
3.
Steering trim: Adjusts the "hands off" direction of the model
4.
Throttle Trigger: Controls speed (forward/brake) of the model
5.
Throttle Trim: Adjusts the motor speed to stop at neutral
6.
Control light: indicates adequate battery power
7.
Antenna: Transmits signal to the model
The remote control system of the Cross Rider is optimally adjusted by the factory. Nevertheless you should
read the following chapter, maybe slight adjustments on the remote control should be necessary. For further
information to the remote control system please refer to the enclosed XG-6 manual.
