FPS Menu Parameters

23.1 Format

CION v1.2r4

This parameter defines a custom clip name. The custom name is defined via the front

panel select and adjust up/down arrows. The default is "CUSTOM".

These are the options:

• Variable – Using the User Interface Control Knob, enter a custom clip name

• Default name: CUSTOM

This parameter defines a custom take number.

These are the options:

• 1 to 999 – Selects a value between 1 and 999

NOTE:

999 is the maximum take number value.

This parameter is used when performing gang recording via multiple CION units (refer to

"Gang Recording with Multiple CIONs" on page

this parameter. If the desire is to have clips named independently on CION units, then

"Slave Name" should be selected. Selecting "Slave Name" means that the recording will

take its name from the individual CION's parameters and not accept the value pushed to

the Slave by the Master CION unit.

• Master Name (default) – Enable clips to be named the same across all CION ganged

units

• Slave Name – Name clips independently on CION units

NOTE:

Most gang controls are only available in the web user interface.

FPS contains configuration options for the format and frames per second.

Press the FPS Menu Button to enter the FPS menu parameters.

The default parameter in the following menus is highlighted by bold typeface.

• 4K (default) – Configures the camera for 4K (4096x2160) progressive
