Connect the guitar amplifier to the
mains supply as described under
„Mains connection".
Charge the rechargeable battery prior
to initial operation, and also after
longer periods of non-use of the
amplifier, for approximately 12 hours
to ensure that it is fully charged.
After charging, disconnect the guitar
amplifier from the charger.
In normal operation, the indicator
beside the POWER switch (8) lights up
in orange when the device is switched
on. If the indicator starts to light up in
red, this means that the rechargeable
battery has to be recharged soon.
Charging takes about 6 hours.
The rechargeable battery has a low
self-discharge, i.e. it discharges slow-
ly when the device is not in operation.
For this reason you should recharge
the rechargeable battery every 6
months if you are not using amplifier
for an extended period.

Connection

As soon as the guitar amplifier is
connected to the charger, the rechar-
geable battery is being charged.
The charging control indicator (10)
flashes while charging is taking place.
When the rechargeable battery is fully
charged, the charging control indicator
(10) goes out again.
The amplifier may be put into operati-
on as soon as it is fully charged. The
operating time with fully charged
rechargeable battery is, depending on
the volume, about 8 hours.
Do not operate the guitar amplifier for
extended periods of time with a per-
manently on indicator permanently on
red, since this cause the rechargeable
battery to be excessively discharged.
This will shorten the service life of the
rechargeable battery.
If the rechargeable battery has been
excessively discharged, it may have to
be recharged for up to 24 hours.
This is the maximum permitted char-
ging time. Longer charging times will
reduce the service life of the recharge-
able battery.
