• For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modificati-
ons to the product are not permitted.
• Only connect the charger to a normal mains socket (230 V~/ 50 Hz).
• Make sure the device is put into operation correctly. Please follow the operating
instructions carefully in doing so.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the connecting cable of the charger
is not squashed or damaged by sharp edges.
• Never touch the mains plug of the charger with wet or damp hands. There is risk
of a fatal electric shock.
• If the charger or its connecting cable are damaged, do not touch them. First of all,
cut off the power supply to the relevant mains socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker)
and then pull the mains plug carefully out of the mains socket. Do not operate the
device any more. Take it to a specialist workshop.
• This device is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children
do not understand how dangerous electrical devices can be.
• Never place containers containing liquids, such as buckets, vases or plants, in the
direct vicinity of the product or of the charger. Liquids could enter into the interior
of the housing and impair the electrical safety of the device. There is also a great
risk of a fire or a fatal electric shock. In such a case, cut off the power supply to
the mains socket (e.g. using the circuit breaker) and pull the mains plug out of the
mains socket. Remove all cables from the device. The product may not be opera-
ted any longer. Take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or spraying water, strong
vibration or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not place open flames such as burning candles on the device.
• Contact a specialist if you have any doubt about how the device operates, its
safety or how to connect it.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. Items such as plastic
sheets, plastic bags and polystyrene parts could become dangerous toys for
children.
• Never leave the device on without supervision.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices that are
connected to this device.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are
to be observed.
• If you are not sure how to connect the device correctly or if questions arise which
are not covered by the operating instructions, please do not hesitate to contact
our technical support or another specialist.
