ALIGNING THE TURBO
Your new
Memorex
CPS Turbo comes equipped with a
patented alignment technology which allows you to prop-
erly position the Turbo's IR receiver window with the
remote control whose commands you want to teach the
Turbo.
Do this with each remote
control,
before you begin
teaching its commands to the
Turbo.
Note:
For best results
,
be sure both remote controls
have fresh batteries
1.
Press
[LEARN).
SE-
LECT and KEY will al

ternately appear on the
display.
2. Lay the Turbo and re-
mote control on a
flat,
non-reflective
surface.
3.
Point the remote
con-
trol at the Turbo's IR
re-
ceiver
window,
located
at the bottom of the
Turbo,
with the
re-
motes
touching.

Although most remote controls can be learned
with the door in place

it may be necessary to
slide off completely the lower door that covers
the function
keys.

Press any key on the
MEMOAEX
remote control
and
slowly move the
re-

mote control from side
to
side.
The Turbo's IR
indicator lights when

the alignment is cor-

5. When the alignment is
correct,
proceed to
"Teaching Commands
to the
Turbo"
without
moving the Turbo or
remote control.
