INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on the purchase of your new Memorex
CPS Turbo Universal Remote Control (URC). The CPS
Turbo learns the remote control commands for up to eight
audio/video components. In today's complex AIV sys-
tems, this eliminates confusion of which remote control to
use and does away with the pile of remote controls on
your end tables or night stand.
This simplifies your life because one URC does the work
of eight remote controls.
But simply replacing existing remote controls is not
enough. Your CPS Turbo can be programmed to perform
sequences of up to 4S different commands that involve up
to eight separate remote controlled components. The
multiple steps usually needed for equipment switching
and mode selection can be preset to operate with just one
press of the sequence number or even totally unattended
if needed.
With the large, easy-to-read LCD display and real -time
clock, the CPS Turbo provides the ability to easily operate
your AJV equipment at any time or day you want.
Your CPS Turbo also has a special feature called
SCHEDULING which ca n automatically activate up to 16
separate sequences and start/stop events. Additionally ,
each sequence can be performed daily, weekly , or on a
one-time-only basis.
A FAVORITE CHANNEL feature allows you to enter up to
32 active or favorite channels into its memory to allow you
to scroll only through those preferred channels.
The built-in QUICK TIMER RECORDING (QTR) allows
you to enter one-key timed recordings for instant, auto-
matic operation of your video recording equipment.
Non-volatile memory allows the batteries to be changed
without losing any codes , sequences or settings.
Du al display light provides easy viewing in low-light con-
ditions.
For your protection , we urge you to record the serial
number (found on the back of the turbo) in the space
provided.
