porarily redirected away from the vehicle radio. The SIRIUS audio is then sent via
the FM antenna cable to the headunit. By setting the SIRIUS tuner and your vehicle
headunit to the same FM channel, you can hear the SIRIUS radio audio. Note that
the FMDA does not affect the SIRIUS Backseat TV reception which is available
whether or not you are listening to SIRIUS radio broadcasts.

Figures 1, 2, and 3 show several possible wiring diagrams:
• Figure 1 depicts the wiring when the DCU is used, and the audio is connected via
a cable to the AUX input of the headunit
• Figure 2 depicts the wiring when the DCU is used, and the FMDA is used for the
audio input to the head unit
The FMDA must be used if the vehicle's headunit does not have a direct audio con-
nection.
