To cancel the NIGHT MODE
function
Press NIGHT MODE again.
The bass sound of the music is reinforced
and the display brightens up.
The METER MODE is automatically set
to "STANDARD" and "GROOVE ON" is
selected.
Notes
• The illumination effect is not available when
you hold down SOUND FLASH during night
mode function.
• This function does not work when the
headphones are connected.
• This function is automatically turned off when
you:
– connect the headphones.
– turn off the system.
– change the GROOVE effect.
Creating sound flash effect
— SOUND FLASH
With the sound flash function, you can
flash the sound output. The sound cuts off
periodically.
Hold down SOUND FLASH during
playback
The flashing effect is activated.
Release SOUND FLASH to cancel the
effect.
To change the sound flash speed
Hold down SOUND FLASH and turn
OPERATION DIAL to change the sound
flash speed (1 ~ 20).
The power illuminator will synchronize
with the selected SOUND FLASH effect.

Press OPTIONS.

Turn OPERATION DIAL to select
the item you want, then press
ENTER.
ILLUM
Change the illumination pattern
around MASTER VOLUME.
BACKLIGHT
Change the meter backlight pattern.
POINTER
Change the meter pointer pattern.
DISPLAY
Change the front panel display pattern.

Turn OPERATION DIAL to select
the setting you want.

Press ENTER.

Repeat steps 2 to 4 to make
other settings.
To exit the OPTIONS menu
Press OPTIONS again.
To return to the previous display
Press RETURN.
