  • Page 2 REQUIRED FOR OPERATION You will need to buy a few items to start the engine and run the car. THINGS NEEDED • Use 20% nitro CAR fuel. Do not use airplane or heli fuels, they will over heat engine. • Buy LONG glow plugs, like OFNA 51009 for auto start. Use plugs without idle bar.

  • Page 34 OFNA POWER STARTER SYSTEM Setting up Read instruction manual carefully. Open and remove kit. Place car on car stand or block, this enables free spinning / turning of wheels. Charge receiver battery, you should trickle charge your batteries overnight. Radio Check Check batteries make sure they are fully charged (batteries are low if light is flashing).
  • Page 35 Starting Procedures Glow Plug Check Make sure that the glow plug heater wire (white wire) is fastened down properly. If wire is not fastened all the way, there will be no spark, the car will not start. Use one copper washer (shim) on glow plug, the second is a spare.
