Please note that slow USB disk read/write speed may result in incorrect screen display during Timeshifting.
If you encounter this problem, replace with another USB storage device with average read/write speed or disable
Timeshift function via Home > System Settings > Recording Settings > Timeshift function.
5.3 Instant Recording
You can use AVerTV Box PVR as a personal video recorder to record your favorite TV programs or
capture video from an external source to your hard drive.
OSD Menu
The disk space needed for recordings depends on the video quality you record at:
Excellent: approximately 3.2GB of the disk space per hour
Good: approximately 2GB of the disk space per hour
Normal: approximately 1.3GB of the disk space per hour
To select the video quality you need, go to Home > System Settings > Recording Settings.
To watch the recorded programs, go to Home > Multimedia > Recordings.
To schedule a recording task, go to Home > Time & Scheduler (See p.22 for details).
We recommend you to use "KMPlayer, "GOM Player","VLC Media Player", or "Windows Media Player" to play the
recorded video on your PC.
Rewinding and Fast-forwarding Live TV /
Video from External Source
‐ Press
to rewind (2x, 4x, 8x).
‐ Press
to fast-forward (2x, 4x, 8x).
‐ Press to play the file at normal (1x) speed
when rewind or fast-forward is active.
‐ Use the numeric buttons to jump to a
specified time position when playing a video.
(For example, press "7" to jump to 70% of the video.)
