As shown in Figure 9, connect one end of the Matrix Cable to the matrix
port of the top Switch, and the other end to the matrix port of the lower
Switch.

You can connect up to four Switch units to form a stack. If you connect
more than two units, you need a SuperStack II Switch Matrix Module and
the appropriate number of Matrix Cables.
You only need one Matrix Module for each stack.
To stack multiple Switch units:
1 Arrange your Switch units as required. They can be rack-mounted or
free-standing; if you choose to have them free-standing, remember to
position the rubber feet as detailed in "Placing Units On Top of Each
Other" on page 27. When positioning Switch units, note that Matrix
Cables are 1m (3.28ft) long.
2 Install the Matrix Module into one of the Switch units. You can find
instructions for doing this in the documentation that accompanies the
Matrix Module. We recommend that for ease of configuration, the Matrix
Module should be installed in the bottom Switch of your stack.
