Error Indicators

Error Messages on the Control Panel

This section describes the meaning of messages displayed on the LCD screen.
The code will appear on the top right on the screen.
Code Situation
E-01 A printer error has occurred.
E-02 A scanner error has occurred.
E-11 An ink pad needs to be replaced.
W-01 A paper jam has occurred.
W-11 An ink pad is nearing the end of its service
life.

Set Wi-Fi from the Push Button (WPS).
I-23 Set Wi-Fi from the PIN Code (WPS).
I-31 Set Wi-Fi from the Wi-Fi Auto Connect.
I-41 Paper Configuration is disabled. Some
functions cannot be used.
I-60 Your computer may not support WSD
(Web Services for Devices).

Solutions
Open the scanner unit and remove any paper or protective
material inside the printer. Turn the power off and on again.
Turn the power off and on again.
Contact Epson or an authorised Epson service provider to replace

the ink pad . It is not a user-serviceable part.
Remove the paper from the printer and press the button displayed
on the bottom of the LCD screen to clear the error. In some case,
you need to turn the power off and on again.

Press x to resume printing. The message will be displayed until
*
the ink pad is replaced. Contact Epson support to replace ink pads
before the end of their service life. When the ink pads are
saturated, the printer stops and Epson support is required to
continue printing.
Push the access point button. If there is no button on the access
point, open the access point setting window, and then click the
button displayed in the software.
Enter the PIN code displayed on the LCD screen into the access
point or computer within two minutes.
Install the software on your computer, and then press OK when
Wi-Fi setup starts.
If Paper Configuration is disabled, you cannot use AirPrint. To use
AirPrint, enable Paper Configuration.
The scan to computer (WSD) feature is only available for
computers running English versions of Windows 8.1, Windows 8,
Windows 7 or Windows Vista. Make sure that the printer is
correctly connected to the computer. See the Network Guide for
more details.
