INSTALLING BLADE GUARD/ SETTING UP WATER PUMP
Warning! Do not operate without the blade guard in place! Do not turn on water pump
without having water in the water tray.
1) Place the blade guard (A) Fig.6 and water pipe assembly over the blade and fix the
blade guard to the motor housing using the lock knob (B) found in the loose contents.
2) Place the water pump (A) Fig.7 inside the water tray and then plug the water pump
plug (B) to the quick-connect plug on the motor (C). Make sure the main power cord
is not plugged to a power source before plugging water pump to motor.
3) Slide the water hose (D) through the hose clip (E) and then insert the end of the water
hose to the top mounted spout (F) of the water pump.
SETTING UP FOLDING STAND
Remove stand and hardware from the stand box. Fasten the stand together using the 2
hex. bolts, 4 washers and 2 nylon hex. nuts. Finally place the entire water tray and
machine frame onto the stand.
Once your sliding tile saw is completely assembled, we suggest to get the water tray and
laser guide set up properly before attempting to operate.
WATER PUMP/WATER SUPPLY
Warning! To prevent excessive wear on the blade, make sure to maintain a continuous
flow of water on the blade duraing all operations. Never cut a tile without continuous
water flow! Make sure the power cord is positioned to remain dry during operations.
Severe personal injury or death can occur if the power cord or the operator of the tile saw
should become wet.
1) Make sure the water pump is plugged to the quick-connect plug attached to the motor
and that the water hose is properly connected to the water pump.
2) Position the pump so that it does not interfere with the motion of the sliding table while
cutting.
3) Fill the water tray with enough water so that the pump is completely submerged, but
not too much so that the water tray overflows.
4) Plug the power cord into a power source, turn the tile saw on and notice the rate of
water flow. If it water flow seems insufficient or too much, the water flow can be
adjusted by the pump flow gauge (A) Fig.8. A clockwise adjustment increases the
water flow and a counterclockwise adjustment decreases the water flow.
LASER GUIDE OPERATION AND ADJUSTMENT
Warning! Do not stare directly into the laser beam.
1) Mark the line of the cut on the tile.
2) Turn on the laser guide system by pressing the red switch (A) Fig.9 and align the line
of cut on the tile with the laser guide beam.
3) Plug in the machine and start the motor.
4) When the blade is at its maximum speed (approx. 2 sec.) slide the table towards the
blade.
5) After completion, switch off the laser guide system and the motor and wait for the
blade to come to a complete stop.
CHANGING/INSTALLING BATTERIES
The laser guide system supplied with your tile saw is battery operated (2 AAA batteries
supplied). Only turn on the laser guide system only after you have placed or are about to
place a workpiece on the table. To change the batteries:
1. Remove the laser battery snap-on cover.
2. Replace both AAA batteries.
3. Replace the battery cover.
ADJUSTING LASER TRAJECTORY
If your laser guide does not seem to be aligned with the blade kerf, a small adjustment
can be made.
1. Loosen cap screw (B) Fig.9 found on the right side the laser guide.
2. Place a scap piece of tile on the table and slide the table towards the blade.
3. Turn laser tip dial (C) until the laser beam is aligned with the saw blade (blade kerf),
hold the laser dial and retighten cap screw (B) to prevent the laser dial from moving.
